2024-04-14 Pembroke v Avoca U18s
Leinster U18s Cup Final between Pembroke Wanderers and Avoca at Serpentine Avenue. Pembroke started off a lot stronger and almost went ahead when awarded a penalty stroke, but the effort sailed wide much to the relief of Avoca. However, Pembroke got their opener soon after as the ball was sent home at the far post. The heavens opened for a good 15 minutes and when the clouds dispersed and the sun reappeared, Avoca had a very good spell in front of goal and did all but score. After the break, Avoca finally converted to bring the game level through a well taken short corner. Pembroke scored again to lead 2-1 in Q3 and despite a strong final quarter, Avoca were unable to recover. The two sides meet again next weekend in the league play-off Final.
