Alwyn Robinson Photography

Alwyn Robinson has been snapping away at local hockey and football matches for over a decade. It was in 2010 that he became captivated with the possibilities of following some of the best sportsmen in the world when Argentina & Lionel Messi came to Dublin.

In 2015, having teamed up with Extratime.ie and Backpagefootball.com, Alwyn is now FAI and UEFA accredited and mostly attends League of Ireland matches covering local sides Bray Wanderers & Cabinteely; however, Alwyn can also be seen on the trail of the men’s and women’s national sides – most notably a spectacular four weeks covering 16 matches at the EURO2016 in France.

There are over 200 albums dedicated to the wonderful sports we play on this site; check out the history page to see a breakdown of all the matches.

Alwyn is from Cambridge and grew up dreaming of playing for Cambridge United. The dream became reality when he signed up for a few charity matches; raising money for Dobbo, a Cambridge United fan who recently passed away five years on from unprovoked attack which left him brain damaged.
